- Create a still life based off of the objects in the middle of the room
- Draw and shade at least three of the forms you see that are next to each other
- Use the pencil/head-squish technique to draw the forms as realistically as you can
- Shading must show a range of value from very dark to very light with the help of a blending tool
- Drawing is cleanly made without any wrinkles, rips, and unwanted fingerprints
- Drawing was done neatly with care without scribbling or smudging
- Drawing was laid out well taking up a good amount of the page
- Drawing tools were used well to create a high quality drawing

- Each chimera should be an original idea rather than an animal copied from myth or another source (video games, books, comics, etc.)
- With the exception that you may create your own take on a mythical creature as long as the appearance is still very original (example: a dragon created from a cobra (head), Bat (wings), and velociraptor (body)
- Your chimera must be in a realistic style rather than cartoon
- At least one chimera must be in a dynamic pose
- Your chimera do not have to have a lot of detail at this time - these are only idea sketches
